Palo Alto · Stem Cell & Bone Marrow Therapy
Stem cell and bone marrow therapy in Palo Alto.
Autologous, point-of-care cell therapy for the right candidate — your own bone-marrow-derived cells, concentrated and guided into the joint or tendon that needs them.
What “stem cell therapy” means here.
At RegenCore, “stem cell therapy” means autologous, point-of-care biologics prepared from your own tissue in the same visit. We do not use unproven or mislabeled products, and we do not use birth-tissue or “off-the-shelf” products that lack evidence and regulatory clarity.
In practice that most often means bone marrow concentrate (BMAC): a small sample of your marrow — usually from the pelvis — is concentrated in a centrifuge and delivered directly into the damaged tissue under imaging guidance. Because it carries a broader mix of regenerative cells than platelets alone, BMAC is often our choice for more advanced cartilage and joint involvement — when the diagnosis and candidacy are right.
Read our full guide to cell-based therapy and bone marrow concentrate (BMAC), or see the Palo Alto clinic page for the map and directions.

Call (650) 328-4411 or request an evaluation online. Our concierge team arranges a time at 2248 Park Blvd.
-
02
Evaluation & candidacy
We use exam, history and diagnostic ultrasound to confirm cell therapy is the right approach — not a default.
-
03
Marrow harvest & concentration
A small quantity of marrow is drawn — typically from the back of the hip — with local anesthetic, then spun in a centrifuge in-house to concentrate the regenerative cells and growth factors.
-
04
Guided delivery & recovery
The concentrate is placed precisely into the target tissue under ultrasound or fluoroscopy. A structured rehab plan and follow-up support the repair over the months that follow.

Palo Alto clinic pageStem Cell & Bone Marrow Therapy in Palo Alto — common questions
What kind of stem cells do you use?
We use autologous, point-of-care biologics — cells concentrated from your own bone marrow during your visit. We do not use birth-tissue or “off-the-shelf” products that lack evidence and regulatory clarity.
Is the procedure done at the Palo Alto clinic or in a hospital?
It is an outpatient procedure done in-office at 2248 Park Blvd in a single visit, using nothing but your own biology — no hospital and no operating room.
How is BMAC different from PRP?
PRP concentrates platelets from your blood; BMAC concentrates a broader population of regenerative cells from your bone marrow. We choose between them — or combine them — based on your specific diagnosis.
Is it a guaranteed alternative to surgery?
No honest clinic can guarantee outcomes. For many moderate joint and tendon conditions it can meaningfully reduce pain and improve function. For end-stage, bone-on-bone arthritis it may not — and we’ll tell you.
Is it covered by insurance?
Orthobiologic procedures are generally not covered. We provide transparent pricing and documentation for any reimbursement you may pursue.
