In a few of our past articles we’ve noted some of the things that can negatively impact your stem cell production.

Things such as:

  • Weight
  • Inflammation
  • Lack of physical Activity
  • And the kind of food you eat

Inversely, we’ve also gone over some of the things that can positively impact your stem cell production like..

  • Regular physical activity
  • Healthy and clean foods
  • Supplementation to fill holes in your diet

And much, much more.

If you’d like to check out those articles, just click here.

But today, we’re going to go down a bit of a different path.

One we’ve never discussed before here at RegenCore.

The topic is that of your gut biome.

Your gut biome is a fascinating environment that begins to develop as soon as you leave your mother’s birth canal.

Some believe it starts in the womb, but that’s neither here nor there.

Your gut biome affects just about every aspect of your health from things such as:

  • Ridding you of brain fog
  • Regulating brain health
  • Regulating your mood
  • Controlling your weight
  • Processing foods
  • Supporting your immune system

And the list could go one and on.

Healthline wrote a fantastic article about how your gut biome is crucial to your health and it’s a great “rundown” to get you up to speed.

If you want to check it out, just head here.

Today, we’re not going to be going over the basics of your gut biome.

But rather if it is important when it comes to stem cell production.

There has been no conclusive research on this subject so please don’t take this blog post as gospel.

To keep it simple, we’re going to go over a few factors from the list above of things that NEGATIVELY impact your stem cell production.

Number One: Weight

When your body is at a healthy weight, it functions properly.

It’s not attempting to digest food every minute of the day.

It has a much easier time pumping blood through your cardiovascular systems, and things simply run much more smoothly.

When you have a healthy gut biome (which is largely due to the kind of foods you consume) your body is able to regulate your weight much more easily.

Knowing that those at a healthy weight have more bodily resources available to encourage stem cell production, we can assume that your gut biome may play some sort of role in stem cell production as well.

Number Two: Inflammation

A topic we have gone over many times is that of inflammation.

The foods you eat, habits you engage in such as smoking, even the amount you sleep each night all can play a role in how much inflammation your body experiences.

Knowing that our stem cell production increases when there’s less inflammation in the body, and knowing that your gut biome can regulate inflammation you could also assume that having a healthy gut biome can influence stem cell production.

Are you catching our drift here?

Although there isn’t much conclusive research on the matter, you can assume that if your gut can help regulate your weight, lower inflammation, and so on that by extension of these functions it may positively impact stem cell production.

Hopefully we’ll see more information comes to light about this subject.

Learning the correlation between these things could lead to some amazing insights into stem cells and other growth factors in the body.
